Why I recommend Alison Jones to be your Personal Trainer.... In May 2009, before I knew Alison, I ran my first competitive half marathon and ended up with a stress fracture……very frustrating. I met Alison, through a mutual friend, in June and was impressed with her enthusiasm, positive attitude and energy and when I discovered that she was a keen runner and personal trainer I jumped at the chance to work with her. Alison was superb! Not only is she technically excellent, but she is a great listener, has boundless energy and enthusiasm and is very goal focussed. She used a wide variety of techniques to ensure my own commitment and enthusiasm were maintained – encouraging texts, cheerful emails and top tips were all part of the service. She ran with me, exercised with me and listened patiently to all my woes. She helped me try new exercises and gave great advice on warming up, stretching, interval training and building core strength. Alison has a holistic approach; the advice on drinking more water, carbo loading and protein was also very sensible and very effective. And I did, of course, achieve all my goals – who wouldn’t with Alison beside them?!

We wanted creativity, fun and innovation but didn’t know where to start! The Passion Group gave us direction that enabled us to deliver our objectives for our Team Time HR Conference in supporting all our teams in gaining a better understanding of our Strategy and their part to play and also getting to know each other and respective roles. I was determined that 2009/10 would be the year I lost weight for a number of reasons; to have more energy, to look and feel better about myself and to be able to buy a dress for a wedding which I really liked. From the initial contact to the final evaluation encounters with this company have been efficient, professional and fun! We used The Passion Group for a team building event, and subsequently for development of service plans. Contrasting events that this organisation managed to engineer so that all participants got a great deal from. The Team building day leant itself to a fun day, this was achieved but with the added value of tools and techniques that could be replicated by any of us in our different work areas. "Wow Mum when I leave school can I come and work with you – you seem to have all the fun"....nine year old son of participant. Following the "high" which our teams felt on the first encounter we were sceptical as to whether the next workshop would be as good, considering the remit we had given The Passion Group to deliver. We were not disappointed. Once again the organisation came up trumps. The day went swimmingly. "I have attended four service planning days with this council and I can honestly say this has been the best".
